Our Story

Our "Home-Grown" Love Story

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Gabrielle attended St. Jude's for middle school and Bradley, St. Raphael's. If you went to catholic school, you would fondly recall Friday night school dances. One of the parish middle schools would host the dance, and all parish middle school students were invited. Well, on a particular Friday night, St. Jude's hosted the dance attended by both Gabie and Brad. During the evening, Bradley introduced himself to Gabrielle and a group of her friends, and by the end of the evening, had asked one of her best friends to dance.

This seemingly inconsequential meeting would blossom into a lifelong friendship - and eventually a romance. Soon, Gabrielle and Bradley entered High School and found themselves together as Freshmen at St. Petersburg Catholic. They quickly became part of the same "social circle" and "friend group." Year after year, they would attend parties at the Harrington's and Homecoming photos at the Mondello's. Their sophomore year would bring them even closer as friends because they dated each other's best friend!! The weekends were typically spent together as a foursome, and they even vacationed with their families as a foursome. Sadly (and as cliche as it sounds), when college was upon them, they all went their separate ways. Gabrielle would become a Florida State Seminole, and Bradly would become a Florida Gator. Despite the distance and objections to each other's sports teams, they would maintain their friendship and visit each other throughout the years. During the holidays and summer breaks back home, they would always schedule time to get together.

It wasn't until after graduation, when they both moved back to St. Petersburg, that Brad would finally ask Gabie to go on an actual "date."

Five years, two cats and five chickens later, on June 3rd 2023, Bradley proposed, and Gabrielle said "YES"!!!

And the rest, as they say, will be Harrington History…..
